Searebbel has developed and validated the proof of concept for Assisted Steering, an innovative solution aimed at improving vessel guidance through high-precision positioning and artificial intelligence applied to navigation control and assistance.
During the project, the data capture infrastructure was deployed, real maneuvers were recorded, and a system capable of generating dynamic real-time recommendations to optimize the vessel’s steering response was validated. The results obtained confirmed the technical feasibility of the solution, with sub-meter accuracy, a 10 Hz update rate, and low latency, consolidating a solid technological foundation for the evolution of new advanced navigation assistance systems.
