1. Responsible Use of the MobilePilot System
aThe person in charge of the vessel must always be prepared to take immediate manual control, particularly in the event of: Technical failure, signal loss, unexpected system behavior or any detected anomaly
- The user is solely responsible for the proper use of the MobilePilot system.
- Only individuals holding a valid maritime license or certification, in compliance with applicable regulations, may operate the system.
- Users must keep the application up to date and follow all technical and safety instructions provided by SEAREBBEL
2. Prohibited Activities
Misuse of the MobilePilot system or this application is strictly prohibited, including but not limited to:
- Software tampering or unauthorized modification.
- Use on incompatible vessels or for unintended purposes.
- Attempts to access restricted features.
- Distribution of malware or harmful content.
- Use on vessels engaged in commercial activities without SEAREBBEL’s express authorization
3. Service Suspension or Restriction
SEAREBBEL S.L. reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the MobilePilot system and this application if misuse, non-compliance with these terms, or breach of applicable regulations is detected.
4. Technical and Safety Guidelines
- Installation: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions as detailed in the user manual.
- Configuration & Use: Only use the system after verifying correct installation and setup.
- Periodic Checks: Inspect the system at least every 6 months, or after:
Long inactivity (over 3 months)
Adverse weather
Any impact affecting the device’s function or integrity - Weather Conditions: Operate only in conditions suitable for safe navigation.
- Manual Control: Always be ready to take manual control. If any issue arises, disconnect the system and take over following the manual’s instructions.
- Vessel Modifications: Installation of MobilePilot may be considered a significant alteration to the vessel’s steering system. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and inspections, and notify your insurer if necessary.
5. EU Declaration of Conformity
Searebbel S.L. declares that the product MobilePilot Aur complies with the essential requirements and relevant provisions of Directive 2014/53/EU.
